Ahh, winter. Good for hockey, yet terrible for sickness. Just letting everyone know we here at LeafsWire have been hit hard by several illnesses, and haven’t recovered 100%. Combine that with school, and work and you have a terrible recipe for non blogging activity. Just want to apologize, and say we should be good to go by next week (hopefully).
PS. We, along with the rest of Leafs nation absolutely love the Phaneuf + Giguere deals. We’ll have analysis next week on exactly why. Go Leafs Go!

With Burke claiming that the playoffs are still in reach, we can safely assume (yet, we’ve known this all along) that tonight’s loss puts a major dent in Burke’s theory.
